Two Types of Asters Available which are an excellent food source for pollinators. Asters are easy to grow; require full sun; and average, well drained soil
Stoke's Aster grows up to 18 inches tall, produces lovely, large (3-4" in diameter) solitary flower heads. Blooms May through September as long as dead flower heads are removed before the seed head forms. Available varieties: Honeysong Purple, Blue Danube, Peachie's Pick.
New England Aster is large and showy with dense clusters of bright flowers blooming from mid-August through early October. Three varieties available: Purple Dome (18" tall), Grape Crush (30" tall), and native Aster (up to 6 feet tall).
